Cancellation/Holiday Policy

In order to attract and retain the best chefs in Atlanta, we work exclusively with clients who are in need of regular chef service. We know everyone travels, and things come up last minute, so we have a cancellation policy that allows for flexibility if you do not need your chef to visit or prepare food on your regularly reserved day.

If you do not need your chef to visit on a regularly scheduled day, you may cancel with your account manager by noon the Friday prior (send email to you chef and info@atlchefs.com).

  • APCS allows up to two consecutive weeks off service per calendar year, at no charge.
  • Beyond these two weeks, APCS allows clients an additional six cancellation days (equivalent to three weeks of service based on a typical two-visit-per-week schedule) where 100% of the service cost (no groceries) is credited to the Client account.  These credited amounts can be applied towards our catering and dinner party services or a la carte Chef’s Selection delivery, and remain valid for up to one year after issuance.
  • Blackout days and credit allowance restrictions apply. Allowances may not be redeemed in Valentine’s Day, May, November and December due to increased demand for weekly service, graduation, and other in-home events.
  • No credit allowance will be made for last-minute cancellations after 12pm the Friday before.
  • Credit allowances will expire 365 days after they are incurred, allowing sufficient time to use or gift those funds.
  • In case you travel extensively, we are always flexible with your family plans and will be resourceful in offering you alternative solutions such as make up days, freezer meals, and/or offering three meals per service day instead of two when you resume service.

To check dinner party availability please give us a call! Five-day minimum notice is required, however, we often book out two to four weeks in advance.
