Meet Emilie, Office Manager & Catering Sales Coordinator
We are continuing our Chef Spotlight series in our newsletter, introducing our team of amazing culinary experts to you. This month, we’re getting to know one of our newest team members, Emilie.
How long have you been in the food service/hospitality industry?
I worked in the culinary industry after college for about five years, going to culinary school in France and working in Europe before relocating to the West Coast of the U.S. While living in Vegas, I moved into the fitness industry.
What drew you to your current position?
When working in the restaurant industry, I was always in the back of the house. I was really interested in applying what I have learned since those days of cooking to now working in the office and administrative side of this business.
If you aren’t at work, what are you doing?
Reading, kickboxing, and spending time with my daughter Genevieve.
What’s the latest in your work world?
There’s so much to learn working in the personal chef industry. I had only ever worked in wholesale or in restaurants, so this is a new experience that I am super excited to grow with. I really love the team too! It’s a different atmosphere than when I was working in the food industry in the past.
What’s the latest in your world outside of work?
My daughter is three and she definitely keeps me on my toes. I am very close with my family and spend a lot of time with them outside of work.
