Anne Gompel, owner and CEO, is a native of France, where she grew up on a farm in the Normandy region. While completing her undergraduate studies in Dublin, Ireland, Anne took on various positions in local restaurants, hotels and pubs, working her way up to the position of restaurant manager. Her interest in the culinary and hospitality industry eventually led her to enroll and earn an MBA in Hospitality Management from IMHI, a program administered by the Cornell School of Hotel Administration and ESSEC Business School in Paris, France.
After several years working as a hospitality consultant in Europe, Anne and her family relocated to the United States, where they lived several years in Miami, Chicago and now Atlanta.
Anne’s career broadened to real estate finance, holding Vice President and Managing Director-level positions with large national real estate advisory and appraisal firms such as BBG and CBRE.
Like all of us at APCS, Anne is an avid cook and baker; beyond the culinary arts, Anne’s other personal interests include classical piano, travel (and particularly visiting U.S. National Parks) and maintaining a vigorous sports regimen – Anne is a four-time Chicago Marathon finisher, which may explain her ability to always go that extra mile for clients!
